Prof. Dr. Benny Moldovanu
Prof. Moldovanu obtained a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and a Dr.rer.pol and Habilitation from the University of Bonn (under the supervision of Nobel prize winner, Prof. Reinhard Selten). He holds the chair of Economic Theory at the University of Mannheim. He also leads the research project "Efficient market mechanisms and market structure" financed by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. Prof. Moldovanu's various research papers on auctions and mechanism design have been published in leading Economics journals. And he has been invited to lecture at numerous universities (e.g., Berkeley, Harvard, London School of Economics, MIT, Princeton, Stanford, Yale). He has held visiting professorships at Michigan, Northwestern, University College London and Tel-Aviv. Professor Moldovanu is currently consulting on the use of auctions in the areas of e-commerce, telecommunication, electricity, and real estate.
Jürgen Freund
After completing his studies in Economics, Sociology and Socio-Psychology, Jürgen Freund started his working career in the Marketing department of Henkel KgaA. After five years he was made responsible for the global product management for adhesives. During the  twelve years he worked at  R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Mr. Freund fulfilled several positions, amongst others he acted as International Marketing Director for the Camel brand. The final position held at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco was that of CEO of R.J. Reynolds Deutschland. Before founding his own company, Mr. Freund worked for five years as a Divisional Chief Executive at Caradon plc in London. He currently works as Managing Director for DF Momentum Switzerland.
Dr. Ing. Wolfgang Reitzle
Dr. Wolfgang Reitzle is president of the Premier Automotive Group (PAG), a strategic business unit of the Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan/USA). PAG owns the brands Aston Martin, Jaguar, Lincoln and Volvo as well as the traditional Land Rover mark. Dr. Reitzle is also chairman of Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd (Newport Pagnell, UK), Jaguar Cars Ltd (Coventry, UK) as well as Volvo Cars (Göteborg, Sweden). He is recognised as being the leading strategist in the premier brand segment of the car industry. The aim of the London based Premier Automotive Group is to strengthen each premier brand as well as optimise synergies across development, production, purchasing and management confirming Ford as the worldwide leader in premier brand car manufacturing.
Prof. Dr. Claus-Peter Weber
After graduating from the universities of Hamburg, London and Paris in Law and Business Administration and successfully concluding his legal practical exams Mr Claus-Peter Weber began his career as an Assistant Auditor with Arthur Anderson’s Audit Department in 1967. In 1976 he graduated as a Chartered Account and Auditor and was promoted to become an international Partner at Arthur Anderson.  He fulfilled a senior executive position in a variety of leading and managing tasks until his retirement on 31st August 2000. In his last role from 1996 to 2000 he acted as the sole Managing Director for German affairs (Country Managing Partner). Besides his professional activities he was always strongly committed to the academic field, especially with regards to the University of the Saarland. In 1990 he received his academic title Dr.rer.oec on the merit of his thesis on International Accounting and taught as a Professor at the University of the Saarland in General Business Administration with an emphasis on Auditing. After leaving Arthur Anderson Mr. Weber has continued his career as a free-lance consultant also with Arthur Anderson and he still holds various board memberships and company secretary positions.
Thomas Köhler
Thomas Köhler, who has a degree in Mathematics, arrived at Accenture in 1980 where he was appointed Partner in 1989. In the same year, Köhler founded Government & Services in Germany as a strategic area and was subsequently responsible for the public sector as well as utility industries such as Telecommunication, Postal Services and Transport. He focused on advising management in the areas of Rail Transport and built this up into a new area for Accenture. In 1996 Köhler took responsibility for worldwide management consultancy of the Automotive und Transport sectors. Since 1998 Köhler has led the advisory group of the Automobile branch, Investment, and Travel & Transport in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. His responsibilities were further extended to the consumer goods, Retail and Pharmaceuticals in February 2000.
Prof. Dr. Heinz Riesenhuber
After completing his studies in chemistry and economics Heinz Riesenhuber worked for the Metallgesellschaftskonzern. For over fifteen years he was Managing Director of various subsidiaries, where he concentrated  on Project Management. Mr. Riesenhuber has been a Member of Parliament since 1976. There he is involved in politics concerning the environment, research and technology as well as the economy. For more than ten years Mr. Riesenhuber was the Federal Minister for Research and Development.
Hans Strack-Zimmermann
Hans Strack-Zimmermann was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at IXOS Software AG, a leading provider of solutions for the management of e-business documents. Under his leadership, IXOS grew from a start-up company to one with offices in 17 countries and around 900 employees, the first German software company to carry out a dual listing on the German “New Market” and the NASDAQ in October 1998.
